Ghost Mode hides your live location from everyone. You can also share your location with Friends Only, or choose specific friends under Only These Friends... for complete privacy control. The default location sharing can be changed anytime in Settings.
Snaps & Storage: Snaps are deleted once viewed, but unopened Snaps remain on our servers for up to 30 days so they can be delivered if opened late. Some metadata may persist for troubleshooting or legal compliance. Learn more.

Decide how you share your photos. Limit Access or Allow Full Access if you want your entire camera roll available for snaps or stories.
Let Snapchat record audio for snaps, video chat, and certain Lenses. You can disable microphone permission at any time in your device settings.
Manage who can see your live location. Enable Ghost Mode to stay hidden, or share with friends or custom lists.
Review ephemeral snap rules, toggle Memories on or off, and control personalization under the Privacy Controls in Settings.
